LET THE GAMES BEGIN: Three Candidates Ready To Roll in Gippsland

In the looming three-cornered battle for Gippsland, the Nats have preselected their State Leader's chief of staff Darren Chester, the Libs have preselected a bureaucrat from the Central Gippsland Health Service  Rohan Fitzgerald while the ALP now appears likely to preselect local mayor of Wellington Shire Darren McCubbin, who seems to have had excellent political training by reason of his involvement in a business that hosts deadly murder mysteries over dinner.

It should equip him well for the Members Dining Room, on cold and lonely nights in Canberra where political "murders" most foul are at least a weekly if not nightly occurrence.

The Labor preselection will be held this evening.

Game on.
