Australia's leading leftist commentator Phillip Adams' party has blackened its own name through serial reneging on preference deals and a slimy sweetheart deal with Pauline Hanson's party in Queensland.
As we reported earlier today, the Climate Change Coalition party has embarked on a chainsaw massacre of its own reputation by ratting on confirmed preference agreements.
In Victoria, the micro-party had pledged to preference the ALP ahead of the Greens. They reneged on that by instead going to the Greens.
Their master strategist, John Harvey, described by a senior Labor strategist guilty of reading the OC too much as a "lying liar who lies", offered the excuse that he didn't really understand the system. He was the former chief of staff to Andrew Peacock, so perhaps that is a viable excuse.
Even slimier is the sweetheart preference deal between Pauline Hanson's party, whose main policy seems to be excluding Muslims from immigrating to Australia and Phillip Adams' party. Her party preferences directly to the Climate Change Coalition with them returning the favour with very high preferences in return.
That'll impress those Radio National listeners.
